So glad you found, or refound, this page.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

My career and understanding of sustainability have evolved through the years, and I hope you will find this website and my blogs useful, and appreciate what you see of my changng relationship to the planet, w=the work of architecture, and the teams that make work joyful.<\/p>\n

I am a a Fellow of the AIA (a cherished honor for my service to the professions of Architecture), a LEED-AP BD+C (knowledgeable about Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design in the Building Design and Construction), a WELL AP (knowledgeable about human wellness in buildings), and a Regenerative Practitioner (seeking larger systems connections over time). All of this is merely to say I have had a long and robust career, and I love to learn and grow.<\/p>\n

I also love the outdoors and recently became a 46-er (hiked all 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks), have a healthy nervousness around technology (ah, well) and revel in working with large and diverse groups of people. And you can see I overly rely on parenthetical clarifications…<\/p>\n

I was raised in New England by stoic but fun-loving older parents, and I consider myself frugal until I get swept away by crafted work too beautiful to resist.<\/p>\n

I have strong and usually clear opinions that are still flexible and capable of growing and changing as I gain strong and clear perspectives from other sources.<\/p>\n
