\nWoodworkers who select, carve, miter, polish, turn
\nSoap makers and DIYers with safer cleaning
\nClay masters throwing the bowls for which we yearn.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s to the vision-makers
\nThe questioning, curious, ever-learning
\nThose who ponder \u201cHow can we to do this differently, better,\u201d
\nAnd are \u201cMistakes are part of the process\u201c affirming.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s to machine makers
\nThose who use gear, power, and drive
\nTo move us, and warm us,
\nWho power, move, and light our lives.<\/p>\n

\nThose who repair and restore,
\nAnd let us love our cherished items through use,
\nThen let us love them longer and more.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s to the health makers
\nThose who keep us in fit form
\nWho help us exercise, learn, protect and prevent
\nAnd who make healthy lives more the norm.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s to the eden-makers,
\nGardeners of flowers and food
\nWho feed us and the bees and butterflies
\nAnd build our local food fortitude.<\/p>\n

\nBe you a maker, or not yet.
\nTo your willingness to try to something new to do
\nand to support your local makers, well-met.<\/p>\n

Local is better, and what we really need
\nMaker-made means support of community, let\u2019s take the lead.<\/p>\n

We can redefine and reinvest in material and skill;
\nRecognize quality and value time. Let\u2019s have the will.<\/p>\n
